The Right to Wear White

The annual mother-daughter purity retreat and chastity resources ministry.

Our Mission

The Right to Wear White is a Christ-centered, non-denominational ministry. Our focus is on the message of purity, which includes (among other things) saving sex for marriage, and is derived from Biblical principles.

Our desire is to encourage girls of all ages, with the help of their moms and other mentors, to discover the truth and freedom that can be found in our Father's message purity. We believe this is one of the strongest contributions a young woman can make in achieving emotional freedom in her day-to-day life and a rock-solid foundation for her future marriage.

The Retreat

Now in its seventh year, our ministry centers around our annual retreats, which continue to grow by leaps and bounds. We are offering retreats in four different communities in 2010. For more details, click here.

Our Future...

We are very excited about where God is taking this ministry, and are seeking ways to grow our ministry to accommodate the huge demand for solid Biblical teaching on sexual purity that we encounter every year. Since the very first retreat in 2003, when Dawn and Laura ran themselves ragged to get everything done, God has blessed us with a wonderful team of passionate people, including retreat leaders, decorators, counselors, and pastors.

We consistantly meet out-of-town visitors who express interest in holding retreats in their own communities. In 2008, we were blessed with the opportunity to take the retreat on the road for the first time, holding one in Ontario in addition to our regular Edmonton retreat. Since then, we have expanded into two other Alberta communities, and look forward to further growth.

Though devoted, our core group of volunteer leaders can't possibly keep up with our current rate of growth, so we are in the process of creating a retreat package which will enable individuals or churches to hold Right to Wear White retreats in their own communities. Stay tuned for updates on this.
